ABSTRACT
Fatty acids are widely distributed in biological tissues as building blocks of phos pholipids and triacylglycerols, which are main constituents of biomembranes and fat tissues, respectively [1]. Furthermore, fatty acids and related lipid compounds have various applications in many industrial fields, such as foods, cosmetics, medicines, detergents, and so on.
