ABSTRACT

We have mentioned previously that arbitrary nets which are covered by subplanes (i.e. ‘subplane covered nets’) are, in fact, pseudo-regulus nets. The proof of this is beyond the scope of this book and may be found in [54]. Furthermore, we have considered ‘finite derivation’ in the previous chapter and, particularly, we discussed derivation on finite translation planes. When a derivable net or subplane covered net is considered within a vector space, we have enough initial structure to consider a classification.
