ABSTRACT
For which prime powers pr > p do there exist non-Desarguesian planes?
In fact, the associated Andre planes can be chosen to have any prescribed kernel GF(q), for q > 2, and any prescribed dimension n over the kernel. We shall introduce the Andre planes as a subclass of the generalized Andre planes, that includes all the finite nearfields among them.
