ABSTRACT
A ‘translation plane’ is an affine plane that admits a group of translations that acts transitively on its points. We have mentioned that essentially any affine or projective plane is intrinsically connected to some translation plane. To see why this might be so, we formulate some structure theory for the set of translation planes.
