ABSTRACT
The genetic programming (GP) paradigm mainly deals with the prob lem of automatic programming. The structures undergoing adapta tion (evolving individuals) are themselves computer programs.
Within genetic programming, the process of problem solving is re garded as a search in the space of computer programs.
