ABSTRACT
Experimental investigations of encounter interaction and determination of the encounter efficiency are complicated for several reasons. First of all, the bubble-particle encounter interaction in actual flotation is affected by a number of factors. To control these factors, the experimental determinations of the bubble-particle encounter efficiency are usually carried out with simplified systems, such as with single bubbles in a well-defined hydrodynamic flow field.
