Abstract. Prospects for observation of the AL = 2 leptonnumber-violating process e~e“ —> W ~W ~ at linear colliders are reviewed. In the standard model with additional Majorana neutrinos, constraints from neutrinoless double beta decay ren der the process unobservable at a linear collider of yjs < 2 TeV except in the most contrived scenarios. In that respect, some models beyond the standard model fare better.
