ABSTRACT
In this chapter, analytical solutions developed in Chapter 7 are used to examine some practical problems. Although these solutions are analytical, they need to be evaluated. Numerical tools based on Fortran and Mathematica are be constructed. For one-and twoaquifer problems, a Mathematica macro package mwfield.m is provided in Appendix C. For three-aquifer problems, a Fortran program multi.£ is presented in Appendix B.
