The grower producing for the wholesale market must consider the supply and reputation of the businesses who will do the market­ ing. Local grocery stores and convenience stores can be a good market for blueberries. Finer restaurants may be willing to accept top-quality berries for desserts made on the premises. Chain stores sometimes purchase locally grown produce, but this market may be difficult to enter because such stores often purchase in huge bulk quantities and already have their supply network in place.
