ABSTRACT
Abstract The Forsmo bridge, the first aluminium road bridge in Norway, was opened in September 1995 and will hopefully be a maintenance free or at least a reduced maintenance structure. The entire aluminium superstructure was assembled in the workshop and transported to the site. The 2 span bridge has a twin box·girder section with inclined webs. Both spans have a length slightly over 19 m.
