ABSTRACT
Dr. Corneliu Bob is Assoc. Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, The Polytechnical Institute, Timisoara, Romania. He has been most active in concrete behaviour, new special concrete types (fiber reinforced concrete, concrete containing polymers, pavement concrete, light-weight aggregate concrete), admixtures, assessment of concrete quality and durability of concrete. His current research work also includes methods of analysis and design of concrete structures’ He has published many papers and some books on various aspects of civil engineering. Professor Bob received his doctorate from Polytechnical Institute of Timisoara in 1971.
