ABSTRACT
Dr. Hiroshi Seki is Professor of Concrete Technology at the Department of Civil Engineering, Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. He has been active in research work and in JSCE (Japan Society of Civil Engineers), especially durability of concrete. His research works include corrosion of bars, protection of concrete, estimation of service life of structures, under-water concreting, new materials for concrete and rigidity of concrete members. Mr. Kentaro Fujii is Chief of Technical Committee at Japan Association of Concrete of Sheet Pile, and Head of Research Cent er and Director at Japan Press Concrete Comp. Ltd, Tokyo, Japan. He has been actively engaged in research works and technical developments regarding high-strength concrete, slag concrete and fiber concrete.
