ABSTRACT
Dr R H Scott is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Durham. His research interests are concerned with the behaviour of reinforced concrete structures, in particular the detailed measurement of reinforcement strain and bond stress distributions. Dr P A T Gill is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Durham. His research interests are concerned with dynamics and vibrations, materials and experimental stress analysis.
