ABSTRACT
According to the visual observations, the state of deterioration was classified as shown in Table 1 and the area of deterioration as shown in Table 2. The degree of deterioration is estimated as shown in Table 3 in accordance with the state and area of deterioration. Table 4 shows the damage rate of each part of bridge. The damage rate represents the ratio between the number of parts with deterioration caused by freezing and thawing and the total number of observed parts. Characteristic deterioration of the structural parts of the bridges was as follows.
