ABSTRACT
Dr Hamdy H.Shaheen is a professor and head of the Department of Reinforced Concrete Structures, General Organization for Housing, Building and Planning Research, Cairo, Egypt. He has been most active in concrete technology by means of research. His current research work includes: use of high tensile steel and repair and strengthening of reinforced concrete structures. Dr Shadia N.Elibiari is an associate professor at the Department of Reinforced Concrete Structures, General Organization for Housing, Building and Planning Research, Cairo, Egypt. She is actively engaged in research into various aspects of concrete behaviour. Eng. Mohsen A.Saleh is an assistant lecturer at the Department of Reinforced Concrete Structures, General Organization for Housing, Building and Planning Research, Cairo, Egypt. He is actively engaged in research into various aspects of concrete behaviour.
