ABSTRACT
This has 91% 1,2 and 9% cis-1 ,4 structure. Of the 1,2 units, 51-66% are in the syndiotactic form and 34-49% are in heterotactic triads. Syndiotactic 1,2 content could be increased to as high as 99.7% using a Co(acach-AlEtrCS2 catalyst system (Ashitakaet al., 1983b). The melting point of this material is 208°C.
