ABSTRACT
The coefficients a to c were obtained using the least-squares approximation. The estimated results are shown in Fig.4 as a solid line in each case. The powers in the Eq.(3) were obtained as a=3 for the columns with Bit ratio of 43 (t=2.3mm) and a=2 for the columns with Bit ratio of 31 (t=3.2mm), by trial and error method. The column curves obtained by the simple method described above agreed well with the experimental results.
