ABSTRACT
Research and Development Support When a new material is being investigated or a new application for an existing material is studied, XRD supports the research and development community by providing phase information, structural elucidation, physical properties, etc. This activity is a support role where the expectations are accurate results in a timely manner. As this support is part of the cost of developing new products, cost must be kept to a minimum.
