ABSTRACT
Surfactants, or surface active agents, generally act as wetting agents. They facilitate detergency or soil removal by modifYing chemical or electrostatic interactions at surfaces. Additive components include bleaching agents, enzymes, solvents, alkalinity sources, anti-redeposition agents, foam regulators, corrosion inhibitors, fillers, dyes, perfumes, and formulation aids.
