ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is not to be a text on the principles and practices of diffraction analysis. Rather its goal is to illustrate the many techniques that are available to the industrial diffractionist and to point the reader to sources of more detailed information on each topic. Further information on many topics can be found in the chapters in this book. The literature on diffraction analysis in voluminous, and any effort to be even partially comprehensive is beset with failure.
