ABSTRACT
Scientists in different fields acquire masses of data from their experi ments and unless they are properly analyzed and interpreted, the data have little or no value. The science of statistics provides tools for solving prob lems in fields such as agriculture, medicine, social sciences, engineering, education, bioinformatics, etc. One of the problems they face relates to the relationship between variables and prediction of one variable using another variable or variables.
