ABSTRACT

An on-site job analysis involves the process of breaking down a particular job into its essential functions or parts in accordance with the Americans with Disa bilities Act (ADA) requirements. A job analysis helps reassure supervisors about the capabilities of an employee with a disability. An on-site job analysis video taped in a plant area to identify ergonomic problems and solutions will impact a larger population of workers who perform the same job duties. (Appendix 1 contains a sample report from a videotaped automobile company ergonomic job analysis).
