ABSTRACT
Chapters 4 and 5 discuss the various methods and sequences that can be used for the construction of cut-and-cover metro structures and outline the considerations for design appropriate to each case. It would be beneficial for the reader, at this stage, to recall the contents of these chapters in order to relate to and better appreciate the salient aspects of the analysis of such structures as outlined in this chapter.
