ABSTRACT
Base: MW 324; hydrochloride (dihydrate): MW 397; dihydrochloride: MW 397; bisulphate (heptahydrate): MW 549; sulphate (dihydrate): MW 783; formate: MW 380; pKa 4.1, 8.5. The quinine salts are moderately soluble in water with the exception of the sulphate which is only slightly soluble. The drug should be stored in air-tight containers and be protected from light.
