Supervisors responsible for the safety o f workers in dangerous jobs may face certain tasks that only become harder with repetition. Have you ever had a worker in your charge die on the job? Have you ever had to go to the victim 's home and knock on the door? When you knock, that w orker’s
happy, beautiful children race to open the door and are delighted to see you, because you wear the same uniform as their father or mother. They call back into the house that “somebody from work is here!”
