ABSTRACT
Fruit wines are fermented from fruit juice, usually with the addition of sugar. The fruit used includes apples, pears, peaches, plums, crabapples, cher ries, oranges, tangerines, ly ch ees, pineapples, mulberries, even tomatoes, and lesser known ones such as kiwifruit (the Chinese gooseberry that became popular worldwide after transplantation in New Zealand).
