ABSTRACT
M g 2 C e , and the second one is decomposition of the solid solution of the high temperature
modification of Ce. The binary compounds M g 3 C e , M g 2 C e and M g C e are wel l established.
Their existence is confirmed in a number of works [109-113]. For M g 3 C e the homogeneity
range was established with the solubility of magnesium in it decreasing with lowering
temperature. The change of the magnesium solubility in M g 3 C e was not determined exactly
and is shown, therefore, by the dashed line.
