ABSTRACT
In vivo analysis involves micro-and nanoelectrodes designed with biocom patible materials. As a result of the scaling laws, some of the characteristics of microsystems are different from those of macrosystems. An alternative of the in vivo analysis at microscale (e.g., lab-on-a-chip) is in vitro analysis with microchips which promises a variety of potential benefits.
