Traffic safety has become a global issue in recent years. The main reasons for this are the loss of lives and associated accident costs. The authorities responsible for traffic safety have taken extensive interest and measures to achieve safety in a wide variety of areas of the traffic system, however, more research in certain areas is greatly needed.
