ABSTRACT
Submit an updated curriculum vitae to the Sponsor before study start. lhis responsibility is very straightforward, particularly if the investigator operates within Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or another quality assurance system where maintenance of a training record including a curriculum vitae (CV) is obligatory. For investigators in multisite field studies-often veterinarians who may not be regular experimentersan updated CV may have to be created. The request for the CV should come from the sponsor or monitor, yet, in practice, the formal act of securing a CV is often overlooked by all parties. Neither the format nor the content of an appropriate CV is prescribed in the VICH guidelines, but the example shown in Appendix 3.1 provides the information that is required.
