ABSTRACT

Given that the solutes used in the correlation studies are different and, thus, subject to different errors in the determined log k and literature log Kow values, the three MEKC systems provide a good starting point for the development of a chromatographic model for the estimation of log Kow· MEKC experiments are usually performed over a limited pH range, normally 6.5-9.5, to maintain an acceptable buffer flow and reasonable migration window for measurements. Solutes should be in a predominantly nonionized form within this
