ABSTRACT
LC-MS), "thermabeam," and "universal interface," has allowed coupling HPLC to the electron ionization and chemical ionization techniques. The ion source is the same as that used by GC-MS, and El spectra are equal to those reported in spectra libraries. This is the main benefit of the LC-PB-MS. Furthermore, this interface is mechanically simple and compact, easy to operate, and may be used for the analysis of samples having a wide volatility and thermal stability range.
