ABSTRACT
Anaerobic and room-temperature vulcanizing silicone gasketing materials-both the formed-in-place kind and the cured-in-place kind-have produced leakproof seals that have lasted the life of millions of machines and vehicles. Gaskets prevent leakage of liquid or gases by forming impervious barriers between mating flanges.
