ABSTRACT
Linear fatty alcohols are used as intermediates in producing nonionic detergents, anionic detergents, and various specialized detergents. The fatty alcohols are also used directly as emulsifying agents, body enhancers in cosmetic creams, and lubricants in polymer processing.
