ABSTRACT
Pipes used in a wastewater system must be strong and durable to re sist the abrasive and corrosive properties o f the wastewater. Like water pipes, wastewater pipes must also be able to withstand stresses caused by the soil backfill material and the effect o f vehicles passing above the pipeline.
