Derivation of the equations

In this chapter we give a short summary of the derivation of the nonlinear resp. linearized equations that describe the thermoelastic behavior of a body B.

Let the body B be represented by the undistorted reference configuration U, f2 being a domain in En , n = 1,2 or 3.
