Small-angleneutronscatteringhasalsobeenappliedtoexaminetheorganizationofsilicaspheres(370nm)inparticlesflocculatedbycationiccopolymersof acrylamideandN,N',N"-trimethylaminoethylacrylate[178].Highlychargedpolymersflocculatebychargecompensationinfloesproducedbyrandomcollisions, whereaslightlychargedpolymersflocculatewithoutchargecompensationbyinterparticlebridgingandfloesofliquidlikeorderareobtained.
