ABSTRACT

Abstract The experimental results and prediction of bending behavior are discussed for two types of extruded mortar with different toughness reinforced with CFRP rod. The composite of untoughened matrix indicated a safe tri-linear behavior that had a quasi yield stage before fracture and a small yield-to-fracture ratio. The composite of toughened matrix indicated bi-linear behavior. The ideal bending behavior could be predicted by a computer calculation program that had a good conformity with experimental results for the composite of untoughened matrix.
