ABSTRACT
These cameras are based on a set of rules governed by Electronic Industries Asso ciation (EIA) RS-1 70 standards. Essentially, an electronic image is created by scanning across the scene with a dot in a back-and-forth motion until eventually a picture, or "frame," is completed. This is called raster scanning.
