ABSTRACT
Pythagorean System was established about five hundred years B.C. and used in Western music up to the 14th century. For this system, T = {2P39; 6 Z} =f II. Depending on the sampling algo rithms, c.f. Figure 6.11, there are known several tone systems called ambiguously also Pythagorean Systems, Pythagorean Tunings, or Pythagorean Scales such that T C T and having various cardinality per octave (II5, II7, II31, etc.).
