ABSTRACT

Single-crystal growth of high-Tc superconductors is important in understanding basic mechanisms responsible for high-r, superconductivity. For the study of the magnetic flux behavior and the symmetry in the high-7^ superconductors we especially need large single crystals of high quality Since the discovery of the Bi-based copper oxide superconductors by Maeda et al. [1], single crystals of the material have been prepared by many research groups.
