ABSTRACT
Computer problem solving attempts to derive a computer solution to a realworld problem, and a computer program is the implementation of the solution to the problem. A computational model is a computer implementation of the solution to a (scientific) problem for which a mathematical representation has been formulated. These models are applied in various areas of science and engineering to solve large-scale and complex scientific problems.
