F8The number of papers devoted to studying of processes of diffusion of electrolytes in the polymer, including the diffusion of water, is traditionally great. It is bound to that diffusion plays a prime role in such processes as a dialysis, a permeability biological membranes and fabrics, prediction of protective properties of polymeric coverings, etc. [1]. The studying of process of diffusion of water in a polymer matrix is necessary for the creation of medical polymer films with controlled release of medicinal preparation, as a necessary condition providing diffusion transport of the drug from the polymer matrix, it is a swelling in water. Under the influence of molecules of water diffusing in the film polymer matrix can undergo various changes associated with restructuring of a material. These effects can carry both reversible (pore filling) and irreversible (hydrolysis) character. In turn, any changes in the structure of the polymer can affect on the process of sorption and swelling. [2] Thus, the sorption method can be used as a tool allowing to track changes in the polymer matrix [3] The aim of this work was to study the regularities of water sorption in drug polymer films.
