ABSTRACT
Spiral concentrator is one of the flowing film concentrators and is used for beneficiation of fine coals ranging in size from 3 – 0.1 mm. Spiral concentrator (Fig. 25.1) consists of a descending spiral launder of a helical conduit with a modified semicircular cross section wrapped around a central supporting column.
