ABSTRACT
As already mentioned in chapter 26, Heavy Medium Cyclone separation has now become widely used in the treatment of coal. DSM cyclone technology was the single most important development in coal washing in the 20th century. Other similar cylindro-conical type washers includes Mc Nally cycloids, Krebs cyclone and Kilborn cyclone.
