ABSTRACT
The term Clean Coal Technology (CCT) refers all the technologies applied to coal in order to reduce air emissions, waste product and pollutants on utilizing the coal for its process of energy conversion. As already indicated in chapter 2, clean coal technologies are categorized into beneficiation technologies, combustion and conversion technologies and post-combustion technologies. Coal beneficiation technologies have been discussed in Part-B for which this book is mainly intended for. Coal combustion and conversion technologies have been briefly described in Part-C to give an idea to the reader about these technologies.
