ABSTRACT
Inthischapter,wepresentthefundamentalsofcloudformationandmicrophysicalprocesses.Wealsopresentthepropertiesandnatureofthecloudspresentin planetary atmospheres. We also extend our previous study of radiative transfer of Chapters3and4toincludetheroleplayedbyaerosolsandcloudparticlesinthe radiation˜eldanditsimportanceforthestudyofthestructureandopticalproperties of clouds and hazes in planets.
