ABSTRACT
Desulphurisation is the removal of S oxides so that the flue gas is free of SO2 and SO3 which are harmful to boiler HS, humans and environment. High levels of sulphurous gases produce respiratory problems in humans and damage to vegetation and buildings because of the effects of acid rain.
