Green Methods for the Epoxidation of Olens Part II: Using Lacunary-Type Phosphotungstate Anion-Based Catalysts

In the area of olen epoxidation with H2O2 as the oxidant, many homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic systems have been developed.1-5 Among them, polyoxometalates as homogeneous catalysts have attracted much attention, particularly in the last two decades,6-9 especially the phosphotungstate-based catalytic systems, which showed high efciency of H2O2 utilization and high selectivity to the epoxides.
