Indications The indication for laparoscopic donor nephrectomy is living donor renal trans
plant-ation. Donor evaluation should ensure that the renal donor has adequate func tional reserve in the remaining kidney to allow donation to proceed. C T angiography or MR imaging should be performed to define renal anatomy before proceeding with donor nephrectomy.
